Jamie Foxx is a blasphemer

Jamie Foxx is a blasphemer. President Barack Obama should quickly denounce Foxx’s words, for his (Obama’s) own good. This has nothing to do with race. This has everything to do with reverence for God and His Son, Jesus. For me this has nothing to do with skin color. Watch the video below and see what all the fuss is about.

More after the jump.

“And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them. And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man. And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost. But the word of God grew and multiplied.” Acts 12:21-24
Why should Obama denounce Foxx words? If not he could quickly run into similar issues as Herod. Clearly if President Obama believes the Bible like he claims, there would be a public declaration to refute Jamie Foxx’s statement at the same time stating that Jesus Christ is the only true Lord and Savior.
He won’t do it, but he should. Blasphemy should not be taken lightly but when very few today, especially in Hollywood, have any reverence for God at all, this should not come as a surprise.
UPDATE!!! Apparently Vimeo took the video down yesterday, so catch the Youtube version below. That is, until they take it down too.

The president should denounce those words, at the very least. I think a lot of people do look at him as a savior of sorts and that is really scary. Because God is long suffering, I think sometimes people forget He judges sin. I would not want to be in their shoes.

Even saying “really scary” to me is an understatement. Have a snowball fight with the kids for our family today, please! A proxy snowball fight, what a good idea, and we can eat some Marie cookies and talk about soccer for your family. Deal?
