Is it just me or……

Does this sign look like it’s saying…..

Nina is a very gassy lady?

Seriously, I didn’t think about it when I was at the festival today. I took the picture because it had my name on it. But when I got home and started to do a post, I couldn’t stop laughing after I looked closely at this picture.

Oh my…I need to go to bed.

Nite ya’ll!

Nina

Oh..ladies…every time I look at that picture, I crack up!

But to answer your question about what it really means….well, a fartura is a deep fried dessert similar to maybe a funnel cake or something like that, that one would get at a fair.

I had my first yesterday. It was cold, so you can imagine it was like eating…well…a deep fried dessert that had gotten cold. Grease remained on the roof of my mouth for quite a while. Not the best I’ve eaten.

Apparently this “Nina” is a good fartura maker…not a lady that has issues with her bowels!!

But looking at that word with English on my brain and not Portuguese….well, you get the idea!

    *giggle*

hahaha, this is funny. And it reminded me of that picture of your mom, that you posted a while back, and had a contest on. The entry that came in were similar in “theme” …. hahaha

Hey Nina, I noticed two things about Portugal in this picture. One is that Portugal has no GasX and that you guys have churros… those things are sooo good~!
I’m gonna get one in Disney World when we go in November. It’s the only place I’ve ever seen them.
Just so you know. I read all of your posts and look at your pictures, but just on my yahoo, so don’t think that I’m missing even a minute of the interesting stories of your wonderful life!
Do you think I can hide away in mom’s bags when they come next month? It would be great to see you again!
    Love and miss you,
    Danielle

oH MY! Girl, you were made for Portugal!

That has got to be the funniest cultural picture I have seen yet and you personalized it!

what a good laugh before bed.

I guess I won´t be having very many farturas. They sound like they would do that to ya. LOL

Love ya! even in your “Fartura” state.
